Illustration Book: Opal and the Crystal Carrot

For this project we are creating a book with several spreads of our choice and demonstrated the idea of combining illustrations and text into a cohesive piece.

For this project I decided to reimagine the children’s book I did back in high school into what I would create nowadays but now with the skill set I accquired.

To contrast with my old children’s book, this timeI wanted the cover and pages to include more illustrative elements to it striking a contrast to the flat simple style of the previous book.
